Objectives of the Al-Ikhwan Youth Club:

  1. To stop racism and promote respect and understanding among ethnical groups to build a vibrant society.

  2. To strengthen the brotherhood/sisterhood among youth and students in all parts of Edmonton in particular, and to encourage them to organize themselves.

  3. One of the many goals of AIYC is to empower high school youth through clubs and activities and by providing resources to foster their growth and development.

  4. To promote the universal human values as a solution to the problems facing our Youth and families.

  5. To promote brotherhood and sisterhood for a single fraternity, regardless of color, class or nationality.

  6. To succeed, young people and parents need to experience emotional and physical safety, healthy relationships, opportunities for leadership, connection to their communities, opportunities to develop skills, quality lives based on mutual respect and positive caring.

  7. To promote, coordinate, and conduct various activities and programs for the advancement of civil rights and the social, economic, educational, cultural, and ethnic interests of Youth and families in the Edmonton area.

  8. To provide financial assistance to less fortunate youth that they can participate in all available skills development and physical activities.

  9. To operate and manage a youth center to provide counseling, educational advancement and preventative social programs that public can benefit.

  10. To solicit, raise, receive, manage and disburse funds to carry out the above objectives.
